Website Support & Development
Faculty of ALES departments, units and research teams can access basic support in online engagement activities from the College of Natural + Applied Sciences and External Relations. Supported activities meet goals and objectives through analysis, strategy recommendations, and project measurements. The staff can advise on an evidence-based approach to online communication strategies that provide a successful visitor experience. They also uphold accessibility and quality by applying U of A brand guidelines and online best practices, as well as thoughtful collaboration with faculty and staff.
For more information on the U of A's digital framework, refer to the Digital Presence Solutions. Recommended platforms include:
- Google Sites: accessible while logged in with your UAlberta account to start a new website using a U of A Brand Template.
- Groupize: enterprise event management software solution that delivers end-to-end functionality to support events (including promotion, registration and collecting fees).
