Earlier today (Apr. 3, 2019), the University Relations – Digital released the following statement:
We are pleased to announce that the University of Alberta’s CMS RFP has been awarded to Hannon Hill (Cascade CMS). Both of our shortlisted candidates, Cascade and TerminalFour, gave great presentations and both were viable solutions for the U of A.
In the end, the evaluation committee determined Cascade was the best product for the university.
I would like to thank the evaluation team from University Relations, IST and SMS for all their work on the RFP. Thanks also to all of you that attended the demo sessions and provided us with feedback along the way.
Over the next few weeks, University Relations Digital and IST will kick off the process of implementing Cascade at the U of A. The Hannon Hill training team will be on campus April 9th and 10th for training sessions and we have already begun planning our cloud infrastructure within AWS for hosting Cascade.
Once our team has been trained and has had some time to become familiar with the product, we will have a much better idea of how migrations will work. Further details on this process will be coming over the next few months.
Once again, thanks to everyone for helping us get to this point. We look forward to working with all of you in the near future.
