Migration Plan
Migration of all Sitecore websites must be completed before the existing Sitecore license expires in December 2020. To meet that deadline the following actions will be taken.
- Site migration will be like for like. This means that the existing site structure, design and content in Sitecore will be moved to Cascade without changes when the site migrates.
- Site owners should make every effort to review their existing sites to remove unnecessary content prior to migration.
- University Relations will manage the migration with the aim to automate the process as much as possible.
- Site owners will be responsible for validating content and making manual adjustments after the migration.
- Site migration will be phased starting with the institutional pages to refine the migration process.
- University Relations will begin meeting with site admins in summer of 2019 to determine migration schedules.
